S o that you do not miss any practice time, you can hold a virtual session online for 30 minutes. This is what I call a “Speed Round Session” These sessions are only meant for making sure your child is still keeping up with skills they are working towards mastering.
What do I need to have for a “ Speed around Session”?
Internet access with camera and microphone, 30 minutes, and a quiet space.
Do I have to buy a package or can I have sessions on a day to day bases?
Sessions can be reserved as a package to get the most value for your time with me, but you can also do book session by session appointments. Keep in mind that progress is typically found after 21 days of working with a tutor.
Why do I need to fill out a questionnaire to get started?
The questionnaire is a tool to help your me make sure I am fully prepared to help your child the first day we meet. After the initial session, I will have a better understanding of what your child or children needs.
Can a session be one on one or with a group?
Yes, most sessions do well 1 on 1, but they can also be done in small groups no more than 3 students in the same grade level.
How many days are recommended to tutor?
It is recommended that your child see the tutor at least 2-3 times a week. Unless you are dedicating time on the days your child is not having a session to reinforce the skills the tutor is teaching your child, it is recommended 2-3 times per week to really get the best opportunity to see any improvement.
What method of payment is accepted?
Payments can be made directly through a secure deposit on PayPal, or any major credit card to ease the hassle of a money transfer upon completing the lesson.

How are tutors matched with a client?
Our tutors are matched by specialization and your needs. We do our best to match a student who needs help in reading with a teacher whose strength is in reading; for example. Our tutors range from teachers currently in an education program in college, teachers currently working.
What happens if I have to cancel a session?
We know that life can throw you a curve ball sometimes and sessions need to be cancelled, if so I will work with you to try to make up the sessions at another time that same week if possible. If you really can’t make it that day, email/text or call your me 1-3 hours before your session was previously scheduled.

Each circumstance is unique and if there are additional costs will be based on the needs of the student and discussed beforehand.
Will someone respond to emails on weekends?
- Yes.
